Nearly 1,500 FUNTOK 24V ride-on trucks are being recalled after reports of circuit boards overheating and potentially igniting, creating serious fire and burn hazards for children.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of FUNTOK 24V 2-Seater Ride-On Trucks on March 26, 2026, due to a serious fire hazard that has already resulted in one reported injury.

The Safety Risk

The recalled trucks pose a significant danger because their circuit boards can overheat and ignite, creating fire and burn hazards for children and anyone nearby. This type of electrical failure can occur suddenly and without warning, making immediate action crucial for families who own these products.

Product Details

The recall affects FUNTOK model DLS-K03 ride-on trucks imported by Shenzhen Luobei Trading. These battery-powered vehicles were sold in four colors: red, black, white, and pink. Parents can identify the recalled trucks by looking for "4x4" written in black on the tailgate and "TURBO DIESEL" on the side. The brand name "FUNTOK" and model number "DLS-K03" appear on both the user manual cover and retail packaging.

What Parents Must Do Immediately

Stop using the ride-on truck right away and unplug it if it's currently charging. The CPSC emphasizes that continued use poses serious risks of injury or even death.

To receive a full refund, consumers need to:

  • Contact Shenzhen Luobei Trading Co. for specific instructions
  • Disable the truck by cutting the battery wires
  • Take a photo of the cut wires
  • Write "VOID," your name, and the date on the truck's hood with permanent marker
  • Submit the photo to the company

Detailed disassembly instructions are available at funtok.net/pages/voluntary-product-safety-recall.

Important Disposal Information

After receiving your refund, dispose of the disabled truck properly. Never throw the lead-acid battery in regular trash or recycling bins. Instead, take it to a municipal household hazardous waste collection center or battery recycling location at retail stores. Contact your local facility first to confirm they accept lead-acid batteries.

Check Your Product

Parents should immediately inspect any FUNTOK ride-on trucks in their homes for the specific model number DLS-K03 and the identifying features described above. Given the fire risk and reported injury, taking swift action protects both children and property from potentially serious harm.
